Taliban leader Mullah Mansoor succumbs to injuries, claims foreign media


PESHAWAR: The Afghan Taliban leader Mullah Akhtar Mansoor reportedly succumbed to his injuries, claims foreign media.
Eelier today, two former Afghan Taliban commanders were also claimed that Mansoor, who was injured during gunshot between two groups after exchanging harsh words.
However, Taliban spokesman Mullah Yousaf Ahmadi denied the death of Mullah Akhtar.
The Guardian yesterday had quoted Afghanistan Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah as saying “I can confirm injuries to Mullah Akhtar”.
Mansoor was allegedly injured in a gun attack between two groups on Tuesday when he visited Mullah Abdullah Sarhadi in his house in the city of Quetta.
