PESHAWAR: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Khyber Agency chapter on Wednesday announced to hold a protest march from Khyber Agency to Islamabad on October 7th against delay in merger of Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Addressing a press conference here at Peshawar Press Club, PTI Khyber Agency Senior Leader Abdul Ghani Afridi criticized the federal government for using delaying tactics in implementation of FATA reforms and merging tribal areas with KP.
The chain March will be started Bara on October and will reached to Islamabad on October 9 where they will join the grant protest sit-in of tribal people, he said.
Justifying his protest of the tribal people, the FATA was depriving from basics facilities such as education, health and basics human rights and implementation of FATA reforms are inevitable.
The purpose of this march is to put pressure on federal government to merge FATA with KP.
