PESHAWAR: The Peshawar High Court (PHC) has suspended the execution of former spokesman for the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Swat Muslim Khan and another militant till 10 August.
Muslim Khan is facing a number of charges including attacks on security forces and murder of other people. Nida Bibi, wife of Muslim Khan, said her husband did not get any chance of defence in the military court and he was awarded death sentence in a one-sided case. The second militant, Mabar Khan has also adopted the same viewpoint in his petition in the PHC.
Both the petitioners have prayed the court to declare death sentences awarded by the military courts as void.
