KP Governor Releases Rs50 Million For Repair Of Chapri-Parachinar Road In Kurram


SADDA, 14 June: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Iqbal Zafar Jhagra has released Rs50 million to the political administration of Kurram Agency for repair of Chapri-Parachinar Road.

Assistant Political Agent Upper Kurram Shahid Ali Khan said the fund will be utilised to repair Chapri-Parachinar Road. He said the road will also be widened where needed. He said work on repair of the road will be launched soon and will be completed within 14 days.

The local people expressed happiness over release of funds for the repair of the road. Akhtar Munir Orakzai, a resident of Mandori area, while talking to TNN thanked the governor for release of funds. He said repair of the road will resolve problems of the local people as it is in very poor condition now.

“Road is broken at various points due to which water accumulates on it after rain. The road is particularly in very poor condition in Mandori. The repair of the road will resolve our problems,” he said.
