Imran Khan Re-Elected PTI Chairman In Intra-Party Polls


ISLAMABAD, 13 June: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan has been re-elected as Chairman of the party during intra-party elections.
According to party Election Commission, Imran Khan elected PTI chairman by a massive margin of votes.
According to result, Insaf Panel, led by Imran Khan, bagged 189,055 votes whereas the rival Ehtesab Panel secured 41,647 votes. Around 26,256 votes were rejected.
The Insaf Panel candidate Shah Mehmood Qureshi was elected as Vice Chairman and Jehangir Tareen as Secretary General of the party.
The party has submitted details of the intra party polls with the Election Commission of Pakistan.
