Imran Khan postpones LG polls rallies, likely to visit KP-quake hit areas today


ISLAMABAD: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan postponed his scheduled public rallies in the connection of local bodies elections after deadly earthquake that left at least 270 people dead and 1800 injured.
Imran Khan had planned public rallies in Faisalabad and Lahore on October 28-29 respectively ahead of local government elections, scheduled to be held on October 31.
After deadly attack which mostly hit Khyber Pakhtunkhwa parts where the Imran Khan party PTI led the government.
Imran Khan likely to pay visit to earthquake-hit areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa today.
PTI also postponed today planned all parties conference in Lahore to discuss joint future course of action on alleged vote transferring from NA-122 without voters consent ahead of by elections.
Most of the deaths and injuries were reported from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. According to PMDA, 184 people were killed and 1456 others injured in across the KP.
