Education a must for change in FATA: Noor-ul-Haq Qadri


KHYBER AGENCY: Ex-federal minister and tribal leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf(PTI) Noor ul-Haq Qadri said that education is obligatory for tribal youth to lead tribesmen to get their basic rights.PTI is the mouthpiece of the oppressed masses of the country and will put the nation on the way of development if it comes in power.
He expressed the views while addressing annual of Insaf Students Federation (ISF) held in degree college Landi Kotal on Thursday.
Large number of students, tribal elders, and political workers participated in the gathering.
Noor-ul-Haq Qadri urged the students’ community to concentrate on their studies and decorate themselves with ornaments of education. For centuries education was the legacy of Muslims and founded base for key inventions.
But ironically with passage of time he added, they indulged them in merrymaking and left strives for knowledge and research and that was the reason that beside holding huge portion of resources majority of Muslim countries were fighting for its survival.
“The inferior state of education of the Muslim world can be derived of the fact that not even a single university is included in top hundred universities of the world”, Qadri added.
He stressed upon the students to utilize all their energies in getting education as youth was the future of the Pakistan.
PTI was the one of the parties that represented almost all sections of the society and safeguarded their interests,he remarked.
Qadri praised the ISF activities and declared it most influential voice at national level.
He condemned detention incident of five local journalists by the forces and said media could not be subjugated with such kind of malpractices and PTI would stand by side with journalist community.
Earlier ISF FATA President Akhtar Gul,ISF Landi Kotal general sectary Niamatullah and others also spoke on the occasion.
