Distance himself from cabinet due to differences of opinion: Nisar


ISLAMABAD: Former interior minister Chaudhry Nisar on Sunday said that he distanced himself from ministry and new cabinet due to the differences of opinion.
“I would not disclose the differences of opinion. It would hurt my party, if I disclosed why I chose to not be part of the federal cabinet,” said Nisar while addressing a press conference here at Islamabad.
The former and incumbent prime ministers made efforts to convince him not to quit as interior minister. But he refused to be part of the cabinet n a point of principle.
Listing his ministry accomplishments during his tenure, he said that There has been a huge improvement in law and order in the country. The data network of the country had been compromised hundreds of thousands unofficial passports were confiscated and millions SIMS were deactivated.
