Death tolls from quake rises to 220 in KPK

PESHAWAR: The death tolls from the deadly earthquake reached to 220 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, said Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) on Wednesday.
The death tolls soared to 220 across the province due to the Monday’s deadly earthquake. It included Shangla 49, Chitral 32, Swat 34, Dir Lower 24, Torghar 120, Dir Upper 17, Kohistan Upper 11, Buner 09, Charsadda 03, Peshawar 04, Mardan 03, Nowshera 02, Swabi 02, Malakand 02, Kohistan Lower 01, Manshera 01, Abbotabad 01, Battagram 01, and Hangu 01, said PDMA officials.
1656 people were injured as well that included Dir Upper 458, Dir Lower248, Shangla 228, Chitral 200, Swat 199, Peshawar 165, Mardan 101, Buner 98, Abbottabad 85, Malakand 78, Kohat 21, Swabi 21, Torghar 18, Battagram 15, Nowshera 14, Mansehra 04, Kohistan Lower 03, Bannu 01 and Charsadda 01.
