Death tolls from deadly earthquake soars to 270

PESHAWAR: The death tolls from the deadly earthquake soared to 270 across the country on Tuesday.
At least 1800 people were injured as well as 1456 were reported in KP alone.
At least 184 people were reportedly killed
Reportedly, several buildings collapsed in various areas of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces as 184 casualties’ occurred in the latter. KP Daster Management Authority (PDMA) reported 38 deaths from Shangla, Chitral 29, Swat 29, Dir Lower 22, Dir Upper 15, Torghar 15, Kohistan Upper 11, Buner 8, Charsadda 03, Peshawar 03, Mardan 03, Nowshera 02, Swabi 02, Malakand 02, Kohistan Lower 01, Manshera 01 and Hangu 01.
According to unofficial figures, however, the deaths toll climbed more than 200 in KP.
The PDMA said that total 1456 injured were reported that included Shangla 80, Chitral 200, Swat 161, Dir Lower 284, Dir Upper 147, Torghar 18, Kohistan Upper 11, Buner 95, Charsadda 01, Peshawar 165, Mardan 101, Nowshera 14, Swabi 19, Malakand 78, Kohistan Lower 01, Manshera 01 and Hangu 01.
Total 2097 houses were damaged in KPK when an earthquake with 8.1 magnitude struck major cities of Pakistan, including the northern areas on Monday.

Similarly, seven deaths were reported from Gilgit, 07 from Chilas, 7 from Azad Kashmir and one each from Rawalpindi, Chakwal, Gujranawala, DG Khan and Qasoor.
At least 25 people were reported in Bajaur Agency, 5 Muhmand Agency and two from Khyber Agency.
