Bomb blast in Waziristan leaves five people dead


WANA: At least five people including head of Peace Committee have been died and two others got injuries when a roadside bomb exploded in Speenkai area of South Waziristan Agency, the political administration said.

The official said an improvised explosive devise was planted by militants at a roadside in the area that targeted vehicle of the head of Peace Committee Wali Jan.

They said that the blast killed him and four others on the spot while two others were injured. The remaining four deceased have been identified as Malik Ardil Khan, Malik Mewa Khan, a school teacher Ahmad Gul and Zaman Khan.
