Bargad successfully trained 50 students in environmental ,climatic mitigation project


PESHAWAR: The Bargad organization together with heinrich boll stiftung organization has successfully trained 50 university students in environmental and climatic mitigation project to better cope with the environmental hazards such as environmental pollution and contaminated water and open garbage.
The training project spanning five month include awareness regarding carbon dioxide emitting which spreads through vehicle fuels, factories smoke, deforestation, clamor pollution and open garbage.
The 50 member green task force was picked from four universities university of Peshawar, agricultural university, Peshawar institute of management science and Abaseen University.
It is pertinent to mention here that the world is observing environmental day.
Speaking at a press conference here at Peshawar press club on Wednesday Sabeeha Shaheen executive director Bargad stated that Pakistan is among worst affected countries regarding environmental pollution and asserted that strict policy guidelines should be adopted on the part of kpk government to reduce the harmful effect of environmental hazard.
