5 School Principals To Face Action Over Poor Matric Results In Mardan

MARDAN, 20 July: The Education Department of Mardan has decided to take action against five principals of government schools over poor performance in the matriculation exams.

The Education Department head Aijaz Ali Khan said in a statement that less than 33 percent students of Government High School Dheri, High School Bakatganj No2, High School Mohib Banda, Higher Secondary School Fatima and Government Higher Secondary School Khanjar have passed their matric exam for which principals of these schools will face strict action. The statement said the provincial government fulfils all the requirements of government schools from time to time and provides necessary funds. It said the principals of schools with poor performance will face removal of increment or transfer from their posts.

The statement added that the schools showing good performance will be given prizes and commendation certificates.
