Three-day training for teachers held in Upper Dir


UPPER DIR: A three-day for the capacity building of the primary teachers was held in Barawal, subdivision of Upper Dir.
The three-day long “professional development training” was organized by the Khwendo Kor, a non-governmental and non-profitable organization, to train 20 teachers of government run primary schools in teaching techniques and methods.
Talking to Peshawar Today, the Khwendo Kor project regional Manejor Maqsood Mazher said that the project working on various development schemes which included education, health and others.
He said that the NGO, beside teachers training also provided school bags, uniforms, sports equipment’s and funding the schools.
He said that mostly the area people are poor which cannot bear the educational expenses of their kids while education is a need of these students.
Regarding the teachers training Maqsood said that to improve teachers teaching skills as to teach their students with best of ways to rise education ratio in the area.
