PTI ends coalition with QWP again

PESHAWAR, 29 July: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Saturday ended coalition with Qaumi Watan Party (QWP) again in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government over differences on several issues including stance on Panama Leaks case.
Addressing a news conference, provincial Minister for Information Shah Farman announced an end to coalition with QWP over differences on a number of issues including the party’s stance on Panama Leaks case. He said PTI could not go along with QWP only for power.
Shah Farman said that PTI Chairman Imran Khan took the decision to end coalition with QWP adding that the decision taken on principles. He rejected reports about rifts in PTI.
It is pertinent to mention, earlier in 2013, PTI has ended coalition with QWP and alleged Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao’s party ministers of corruption. However, the two parties again formed coalition in 2016. Sikandar Sherpao was appointed as Home Minister and Minister for Irrigation whereas Aneesa Zeb Tahirkhelwi was appointed as Minister for Minerals.
QWP has not shown any reaction over ending coalition with PTI.
