Pak Army Lieutenant martyred in Khyber Agency cross-border attack


TIRHA VAlly: A soldier of Pakistan Army martyred on Saturday in cross border terrorist attack in Rajgal valley area of Tehsil Bara of Khyber Agency.
According to Inter Services Public Relation (ISPR), an attack was carried out at Pakistani post in the area by the terrorists from across the border between Pakistan and Afghanistan, in which 22-year-old Lieutenant Arslan Alam embraced martyrdom.
In retaliation, three militants were killed and two others got injure, ISPR said. The militants took the bodies of their dead colleagues and fled to Afghanistan, it added and said massive search operation was launched in the area.
Lieutenant Arslan Alam had been deployed as commanding officer on the front post at the Pak-Afghan border in hilly area of Rajgal. He was 22 years old and was only male child of his parent.
