ABBOTTABAD, 23 June: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervaiz Khattak inaugurated Rescue 1122 service in Abbottabad on Thursday.
Addressing the inauguration ceremony, the chief minister said the service will be extended to all the districts and tehsils of KP. He said Rescue 1122 has trained its personnel on modern lines and its officials will provide services to people in case of emergencies at their doorsteps.
Director General Asad Ali Khan said on the occasion that it was a matter of great satisfaction that Rescue 1122 possesses all the necessary equipment required for carrying out its functions. He said the Rescue 1122 officials have been trained to save the people in the events of medical emergencies, fire, natural calamities and accidents. He said Rescue 1122 is also providing training to people to cope with emergency situations. He said the rescue officials are committed to provide services to people round the clock.
