MARDAN, 25 July: Federal Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Monday laid the foundation stone of gas supply scheme in Shergarh area of Mardan.
The project will cost Rs1,200 million. A ceremony in this regard was organised at the hujra (male guest house) of Member Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Jamshed Mohmand. Prime Minister’s Adviser Amir Muqam, Deputy Speaker National Assembly Murtaza Javed Abbasi and other leaders and activists of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) attended the ceremony.
Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said while addressing the ceremony that the PML-N has brought development and progress in the country. He said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif always pursued pro-poor policies. He said gas supply is continuing to 2.2 million people in KP. He said gas supply will soon be inaugurated in PK-28.
