Disqualification was pre-planned: Nawaz Sharif

GUJRANAWALA, 12 August: Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has alleged that the decision of his disqualification was made long ago.
Addressing a consultative meeting in Gujranwala before leaving for Lahore, Nawaz Sharif said that the decision to disqualify him was pre-planned. The Supreme Court judges did not do justice to him, he added.
The disqualified prime minister said that International Court of Justice will turn down the apex court’s decision in few minutes if he challenged the verdict.
Without naming anyone, he said that they removed him from power for serving people. “Does the vote of 200 million count for nothing?” he asked. Time has come to make them accountable,” he remarked.
Later, he started the fourth and final day of his journey towards his hometown, Lahore.
