24 Killed, 40 Injured In Suicide Bombing In Kabul


KABUL, 24 July: At least 24 people were killed and more than 40 others were injured when a suicide attacker detonated a car bomb in Kabul, the capital city of Afghanistan.
Spokesperson of Afghanistan Interior Ministry said police has cordoned off the area, located near the house of the deputy government Chief Executive Mohammad Mohaqiq in Kabul. He said the target of the attack was so far unclear.
Afghan security sources told Reuters that a small bus owned by the Ministry of Mines had been destroyed.
Afghan government officials said at least 24 people had been killed and 40 wounded but the casualty toll could rise further.
